Angel Diaz founded ADS Federal in 2011, and he’s been the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) ever since, even as he ushered in the rebranding in 2020. The name was changed to Allegient Defense, with a new logo and brand identity. As Angel said, it allowed them to “more accurately reflects who we are, how we operate and who we serve.”

Angel draws upon a BA degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland University College, an MIS (Management Information Systems), and an MBA from Strayer University. He is a Doctoral Cyber Fellow at George Washington University, with plans to finish his doctoral dissertation in 2022.

He serviced and took on Network Engineer, Program Manager, and Radio Frequency Engineer roles in the US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). So, he’s uniquely qualified to hold the preeminent position at Allegient.

As the CEO, Angel wanted the company’s name to more clearly demonstrate a dedication to working in service of the DoD community and veterans. From those first days of founding the organization, Angel has built upon his background, with talented and dedicated professionals who support the mission.
