The CEO of Rafael Marrero & Company will be part of the eighth cohort for Stanford Latino Educational Entrepreneurship and Growth Initiative Program.

MIAMI, October 8, 2019 / Leading expert on federal contracting, Rafael Marrero, will be part of an merit scholarship awarded by the Latino Business Action Network (LBAN) and the Stanford University School of Graduate Studies of Business GSB), to be held from October 12 to December 7.

Thanks to the online course designed by the renowned GSB professor, Huggy Rao, the business leader will start an elite program with Hispanic entrepreneurs that will allow him to learn new concepts about how to scale his own company, Rafael Marrero & Company.

Marrero and the rest of the participants will study topics such as mentality change and human capital through various practical exercises. The program includes powerful interviews with experts in business scaling, webinars with industry specialists, and a live feed with Professor Rao.

This eighth cohort of the Stanford Latino program offers an invaluable opportunity to learn from other successful Hispanics from across the country. Basically, it’s about cultivating a national ecosystem of thriving Latinos. Upon graduation, Marrero will join the group of Hispanic businesses with the greatest potential growth in United States history.

To date, 507 entrepreneurs from 30 states of the country and Puerto Rico have been trained through this scholarship. Today, these entrepreneurs employ more than 47,000 people and, collectively, have generated more than $ 1.85 trillion in annual revenue.

LBAN’s mission is to empower Hispanic business owners to grow their companies, create jobs, and develop leaders who, in time, spawn a new generation of businesses. The goal is to double the number of Latino businesses with revenues above $ 10 million, $100 million and $1 billion by 2025.

Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative is a research and education collaboration between Stanford University and the Latino Business Action Network (LBAN). The goal of this program is to serve as a catalyst for Latino entrepreneurs who want to grow their current businesses and, more specifically, for Latino entrepreneurs interested in creating high-growth potential businesses.
