The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will grant the award.
MIAMI, September 30, 2019 / Rafael Marrero & Company will receive a Sunshine Award from the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SFLHCC) during the 25th annual awards ceremony, which will take place next November 1st in this city.
The president of the SFLHCC, Liliam López, said this distinction recognizes Marrero’s company in the Small Business category, due to the extraordinary work it does advising small businesses owned by minority, veterans and women in terms of business opportunities with government agencies.
López congratulated the renowned expert for all his successes; as well as for the great work he does helping others to achieve the American dream. This Sunshine award will distinguish the meritorious work of Rafael Marrero & Company, a management consulting firm founded by Marrero himself in 2008.
Primarily focused on the Hispanic community, Marrero’s firm has been recognized twice by the prestigious Inc. magazine as one of the 500 fastest-growing privately-owned companies in the United States and as one of the 50 best workplaces in America.
The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce was created 25 years ago to promote Miami-Dade County business and strengthen collaborative bonds with government agencies. The Sunshine Award, meanwhile, annually recognizes the companies that excel and engage with the community.
In 2019, the 25th annual award ceremony will take place at the Ritz Carlton hotel.
